Ag Expo First Day!

Well, the first day of Ag Expo started with a blast....an ARCTIC BLAST! Over night snows and cold cold temps. I got in to the booth and the Hospitality group set up a propane heater and kept me snug!
Then, after lunch had warmed things up, in came Dads and Grandpas! Let me tell you ladies, those men have put you to shame! They came, they saw, they purchased.
My overalls flew off the racks. I would make more tonight, but alas, I have no more overalls!!!
My little dresses caused squeals of delight!
I would like to thank all of the patrons who came by and visited and gave me such warm compliments. I love visiting with people and this year I was the "ticket puncher", so anyone who wants to win a trailer needs to see me! I received several good luck hugs from some of the older ranchers! They made me blush!
Many thanks to Steve Tuttle for taking Conner around the various exhibits, my boy is tired, but so happy from his day with "The Tuttle-man".
Here are some pictures from the morning, I am glad I took them because so many of these items have found new homes!!

2010 Ag Expo!

Well, Howdy! It is time for another wonderful event! The 2010 Ag Expo! This event takes place at the Roosevelt County Fair grounds. It showcases vendors and merchants involved in the agricultural industry.
There are many exhibits and booths to see, as well as some fun give aways! Go through the displays, get your card punched and you may even win a trailer (or I might!!).
I have a new location for my booth this year. I am on the right hand side of the Merchants building, towards the back. It is nice and cozy back there, no wind or weather!
So come on out, enjoy a delightful day and visit my booth!
See y'all there!

Ag Expo 2010

Busy busy busy. That can be my only excuse. We have had several large winter storms move through and between snow days and sledding, muddy paws and laundry, my posts have been lacking!
I have been working like the perverbial busy bee and have completed around ten outfits for the Ag Expo. I am concentrating on John Deere and country items, but am still including some favorites like firemen overalls and some funky ecletic favorites.
I am hoping there is enough sun out today to get some decent pictures. I hope to post them.
Please come out and see me at the Portales Ag Expo, February 23 and 24.
Admission is free, parking is free and the people are friendly. Lots of free samples and so much to look at and learn about.
