This is a great dress for the winter Olympics! I used denim and made an Anna wrap dress. In felt, I appliqued an inukshuk. An Inukshuk is a stone figure made to resemble a man. They have been used for centuries as guides in the Artic by the Inuit people.
This symbol is now the emblem for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I made some modifications so as not to have a copy right infringement. I did find this symbol very intriguing and inspiring.
Added to this is a vast swirl of dozens of faux crystals, to mimic a flurry of snow . This listing is now on ebay.
If there is alot of interest, I will add it to etsy!
Have fun and stay warm!
