What's the buzz?
Peanut Valley Festival was a roaring success! I was blessed to see so many returning customers, and met some wonderful new ones. I then promptly took a break! Okay, not a complete break, I did work on some custom orders. One order was a custom Victorian bustled skirt....for an adult! Can you imagine? I branched out! Lacy, a friend of mine, purchased the most gorgeous fabric and I made my first adult item (okay, first item for someone other than me!). She paired it with a gorgeous overbust corset and looked, sigh, divine! She is a lovely woman, and this look made her VA-VOOM! Hmmmm, maybe I need something like that!
Anyway, back to business! I have that super gorgeous Christmas fabric, and I was thinking.....seasonal pinafores! What better to have! They would go over dresses to provide a bit of fun, and can protect the inside dress from the hazards of holiday cuisine! I would know about that, since I can't go through one meal without a bit of a spill!
I am also super EXCITED to announce that Let Her Be Little items will now be available at:
The The Shabby Sheep Yarn Shop!! Liberty is opening a shop in Portales, right near Times Remembered, near the square. This shop is going to be fabulous! I am going to be scheduling a regular time for me to be in shop, so anyone thinking of customs and wants to speak directly with me....we got you covered!
Okay, off to make pinafores.....oh yeah, and look for embroidered aprons!

Twas the Night before Peanut Festival!
Wow, it is already here! Peanut Valley Festival! I can't believe it! I am so excited!!!
This year I have more for the infants of our lives! The bibs and booties and dear sweet dresses. I have new embroidered onesies, too cute!
I am also teaming up with The Shabby Sheep from the Main Place. They have a fabulous raffle going, so please stop by my booth for tickets! A little bird also told me that the Shabby Sheep will be moving to a new location and (wait for it!!) Let Her Be Little has been invited to place items in the new shop!!
Can you believe it? A real, brick and wood shop where you can go and buy items!! Woooo whoo! I am in the big time now!!!
I will keep you updated, but please, feel free to ask me all about it at the Peanut Festival!!

Birds and Bibs and cute little dresses
As I gear up for the annual Peanut Valley Festival, I always panic just a bit! Will I make the right things? Will I have enough of the sizes that people want? Will I have enough bows?
Have I settled down and solved these problems? Nope. I ventured out into some new items. Items that I hope will be popular. What's life without a few chances!
Here are some new items: Little Fabric Birds, reversible bibs, and toddler dresses with embroidery!

Heritage Days!
SALE SALE SALE
Aren't those words to warm a heart!!
I have marked down nearly every item for our Summer Heritage Days.
I would much rather have an item sell than sit!!
I am also running a fantastic sale on pillowcase dresses. Two for $25! You just can't beat that! What's more, these sweet dresses also make fantastic halter tops for older girls! What an investment!
Come to the Portales Memorial Buidling and check it out!!

Custom works
I so love custom orders!
Here are a couple of customs!
And the funny part is that just today my daughter Caitlyn and her best friend, Allie, asked for matching halter tops! So I guess I have another custom order!

Fairy Crowns!
I am so behind in my blogging! Spring has come and while at first, our winds were forceful and prevented outside adventure, the weather has turned lovely. It has been hard to resist the lure of the outside. I have planted part of my garden and then some flowers.
Speaking of flowers...new this spring, Fairy Crowns.
These are light weight lovely crowns for any fair maiden! They have clusters of flowers and flowing ribbons. Look for them at my Etsy store as well as at Heritage Days.
I am now offering children's aprons as well as the cute clothes which I enjoy making!

Applique Central
Wow, I have gotten hooked on applique. I have experimented with a new presser foot (thanks to the ladies at the Sewing Basket) and have done a bunch of baby items.
I will be at the Portales Women's Club on Saturday March 20, at the Greyhound Arena.
This is the annual Women's Day Out. Ladies, need a break? Get your tickets to Women's Day Out! Attend wonderful seminars and gets lots of goodies! And see me!
I found some of softest denim overalls and jackets and put some lovely appliques on them.
I will try and post some pictures soon, but I have a very special birthday dress to make! Little Keira will soon be three and her mama has a vision for a gorgeous pink dress! I love it!

Ag Expo First Day!
Well, the first day of Ag Expo started with a blast....an ARCTIC BLAST! Over night snows and cold cold temps. I got in to the booth and the Hospitality group set up a propane heater and kept me snug!
Then, after lunch had warmed things up, in came Dads and Grandpas! Let me tell you ladies, those men have put you to shame! They came, they saw, they purchased.
My overalls flew off the racks. I would make more tonight, but alas, I have no more overalls!!!
My little dresses caused squeals of delight!
I would like to thank all of the patrons who came by and visited and gave me such warm compliments. I love visiting with people and this year I was the "ticket puncher", so anyone who wants to win a trailer needs to see me! I received several good luck hugs from some of the older ranchers! They made me blush!
Many thanks to Steve Tuttle for taking Conner around the various exhibits, my boy is tired, but so happy from his day with "The Tuttle-man".
Here are some pictures from the morning, I am glad I took them because so many of these items have found new homes!!

2010 Ag Expo!
Well, Howdy! It is time for another wonderful event! The 2010 Ag Expo! This event takes place at the Roosevelt County Fair grounds. It showcases vendors and merchants involved in the agricultural industry.
There are many exhibits and booths to see, as well as some fun give aways! Go through the displays, get your card punched and you may even win a trailer (or I might!!).
I have a new location for my booth this year. I am on the right hand side of the Merchants building, towards the back. It is nice and cozy back there, no wind or weather!
So come on out, enjoy a delightful day and visit my booth!
See y'all there!
