There is busy, and then there is busy!

Okay, sometimes I have a habit of giving excuses....not the best of habits and I am trying to stop that. But I do think that when you read these, you'll be forgiving. We have been super busy on the home front. We had end of year IEPs at school and field trips and my twin boys graduated kindergarten this year. I also rushed to finish some painting in the family room so Steve could do his big TV change out.
Jori had to take Zavy into the Oncology unit at UNM. So far there are no answers, but it really looks like lymphoma...except there is trouble finding the malignancy. Keep him in your prayers.
Pretty big excuses for not keeping this blog up to date.
I will be at the Memorial Building with Portales Heritage Days. This Saturday, June 20th. There is a very good chance that Jori and Zavy will still be at UNM.
Please come by and see me though. We have a new selection of our very popular cross T-shirts, some very nice patriotic dresses and skirt sets and of course, dresses. We have done some new work with shirring and have been very pleased with the results. The shirring is sewing with an elastic thread that tightly gathers the fabric. We also noticed that while the effect is pretty, it gives parents a lot of give in sizing, meaning an outfit will fit much longer.
So enjoy our wonderful Heritage Days and after the parade, swing over to the Memorial Building and join us.

Shirred Summer Sundresses

Nothing says summer like a sweet shirred sundress. It brings back memories of our own youth. I remember having quite a sunburn and how the shirred material was better because while it was tight to the skin, it didn't chafe the way other outfits did! But enough about me.

We are making these delightful sundresses in a variety of styles.

We can make a classic shirred dress with shoulder ties.
We can make a shirred dress with a traditional halter tie behind the neck.
We can also create a V tie that joins the top of the bodice with a cute button and then ties around the neck.
Or we have made a shirred dress with delightful shirred straps that are almost a cap sleeve!

Oh the possibilities are endless.

Introducing...... Hip Pop Girlz Wear

We know that as girls get into the in-between ages, they no longer want the frills and flounce of the little girl dresses. But we also know that what is commercially offered to them is not acceptable! So we are offering an alternative. We call it Hip Pop Girlz Wear. It is fun, modern and stylish, but modest and still age appropriate. We are making deco jeans, denim jackets and sundresses that are more elegant with cleaner lines! Enjoy!

Summer dresses and New Hair Pretties!!!

Our new Pony "O"s sport elastic hair bands with NO metal clips. They are heat sealed to prevent fraying. We can make them in any color or theme you chose. These are worn by our girls' soccer team and have passed AYSO inspections!

Introducing our new shirred summer dress with cap sleeves. This dress is a super easy self dressing item. Shirring gives to allow your little one to dress herself! The cap sleeves offer a bit more flair and modesty than the traditional shoulder ties.
